This month most of Queensland has felt the effects of the summer monsoon.  Beaches along the south east coast have not been exempt.  Here’s a gallery of images taken at Peregian on the Sunshine Coast recently as the wild weather started.  This hasn’t stopped people entering the surf but conditions can changes quickly from safe to dangerous.
