Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending the day at the Brisbane Cricket Ground (the Gabba Stadium) to watch the season final of the annual Sheffield Shield competition, which is the primary national cricket contest played between the country’s 6 states.  This was the final day of the match played between teams representing Queensland and Tasmania.

I’m pleased to say that Queensland won by 3 wickets the closely contested game that ebbed and flowed throughout.

Even though I could only take my point and and shoot Nikon P7000 camera to the game, and the light was variable, I still managed to get a few decent images during the day.
